The Chamber and the West Allis - West Milwaukee School District have much to offer each other. The Chamber provides real world business expertise and the resources while the schools furnish our businesses with prospective employees. The Foundation is working to ensure students are prepared for life-long learning… In 1990 the Chamber Education Foundation was incorporated by the State of Wisconsin. The West Allis Education Foundation partners with business and the educational community to raise charitable dollars through direct contributions and distribute these resources to support programs which nurture, enhance, and provide a quality learning experience for students in the West Allis - West Milwaukee community.

The Foundation partners with businesses and the educational community to promote programs that offer applied business and vocational experiences. The Foundation targets learning experiences which strengthen opportunities for students to gain employment skills or advancement into higher education, either college or vocational/technical training. The Foundation is interested in programs which augment or provide more “hands on” learning experiences. Examples of these are: · Mentoring Partnerships · Project Lead the Way · Crystal Apple Awards · Innovative School Grants · Small Business Grants · Higher Education Grants James E.
